Description
These galloping ocean waves of Long Beach, NY are the first warning of the true nature of the fierce winds and pounding waves to come as a result of Hurricane Sandy along Long Island and the entire coastal northeast US. This was taken Sunday morning while those living along the coast were preparing their homes and the surfers were taking advantage of the high seas. See my photo 'battered' to view one of the results.
