The Heceta Head Lighthouse stands guard along the Pacific Ocean Scenic drive warning ships & sailors of any dangers as they approach land. Built in 1894, the 56-foot tall lighthouse shines a beam visible for 21 nautical miles making it the strongest light on the Oregon Coast. This majestic lighthouse stands above a 205 foot headland leading up from the pacific ocean.
